Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and all the very best for 2011. Let’s hope next years growing season is a fab one, and we all grow enormous veg next season. Let’s hope for odd shaped carrots and parsnips, gigantic pumpkins and tomatoes with odd bits on them. Have a great time and don’t eat and drink too much (whether I’ll stick to that rule is anyone’s guess).

Merry Christmas from Kentucky where we are waiting on a winter storm to roll in. A country cured ham is cooking on the stove and a turkey is smoking on the grill. Hope you and your family have a great holiday.

    • I hope the winter storm wasn’t too bad. I bet you house smells wonderful with all that food cooking. I did a ham this year, and we’ve still got half left. We had a great Christmas and a fab New Year. My parents have gone back home now, Mark has gone back to work, just the kids to go back to school on Thursday and I’ll have the whole house to myself again. It’ll be very quiet. I’ll have to go out and spend my garden center vouchers.
All the very best for the New Year.
