Another cold, but dry day in Kent. So I was back out in the garden, digging out the rest of the soil for the base of the chicken’s house. This last bit was a little more tricky than before, as I had to contend with some rather large tree roots. But with the help of a saw and a bit of flexing of my muscles, I soon showed them who was boss.
Plus a few more interesting finds along the way.
Claire, good job. I know about tree roots and how difficult they can be to clear out of an area. I’m in a process of building a firepit area where a tree grew. It’s been a long process and hopefully some day it will be finished.
Have a great chicken coop base building preparation day.

Your fire pit will be wonderful when it’s finished. Garden projects take some time to do. But at least it keeps me out of mischief.
