April/May time is when you should start thinking about sowing your Cauliflowers seeds. There are so many different varieties and colours out there to grow. You’ll only find the white variety in the shops, so why not grow something a little different. This year I’m growing Romanesco which are green in colour. I’ve grown them before and they were wonderful. Also a little greenhouse update to see how various plants are getting on.
Clare could you tell me what would be good to plant for some one that is not as young as they use to be too hard to get up from the ground what could we plant that we do not have to do a lot of work and bending down and get up off the ground and dose not take a lot of work.

I would suggest something that you could grow in a hanging basket. Tumbler Tomatoes, Mangetout, Peas, Sugar snap, Dwarf French beans (purple Teepee are good). Or you could always go and buy a couple of courgette plants. They do take up quite a bit of space, but are very low maintenance. Hope this helps.
What about some Potatoes or Asparagus or Shallot
If lifting is difficult then potatoes could be tricky. Asparagus takes 2 or 3 years till you can harvest and has to grow in the ground. Shallots are easy to grow, but should be in the soil by now. I was thinking of produce that could grow in a hanging basket and would look pretty trailing.
