Friday 1st April 2016 – My Ginger Bush!

The time has come for me to show you my Ginger Bush. It’s so wonderful, and only needs the occasional trim.

    Ginger bush?. How brilliant whatever will they come up with next?.Its so decorative too, i would love one in my garden.
    Just looked up its botanical name and all i could find was : Foolyfirstaprilimus.

  5. Loved your ginger bush!! Greetings from southern Italy. I used to have an allotment at Tattenham Corner which I think is not a million mile from you? Growing fruit and vegetables is so much easier here as it has the one thing that is needed…..sun. I tried everything and when in the UK but never really had what you would classify as a harvest. Here in my first year it was bumper crops. It is interesting the difference in growing things. My chick peas and lentils are through and having never grown them before it is interesting to see the growth stages. Keep posting as always good to see what you are growing

    • Tattenham Corner is up on the downs and not too far away from me. How amazing is that! I’m very jealous that you have much warmer weather than we do, and a far longer growing season as well. It’s like my parents in Spain, the things they can grow and I can’t even think about. But then I can grow better potatoes and carrots than my mum can, so I guess we’re even. Still I would love so much more sun, heat and a longer growing season.
