Now is the time to start off your Squash. I’ve got 3 different packets to sow today. Butternut “Hawk F1”, which I grew last year and they were amazing. I think I ended up with 22 fruits in total, a couple you may remember were…how shall we put it…..looked like something rather rude. Also I’m sowing some called “Jumbo Pink Banana”, which I’m intrigued about, and finally a lovely selection of “Mixed Squash”, again which I sowed last year and I got some wonderful fruits off the plants. If you are wanting to sow your Squash straight outside then leave until early May at the earliest.
