What was in the Tower of London Moat during World War I? Well it wasn’t poppies as they have today, but it was vegetables. Ingenious if you ask me.

    Brilliant. Thanks for sharing that. Did you also know that there were animals there too? In 1235, King Henry III received three lions (or leopards) from Emperor Frederick II.
