Firstly I want to say “Happy Birthday” to my nephew Chris who is 20 today. Makes me feel very old to have a nephew of that age.
I’ve just had the perfect Sunday afternoon. I spent the whole afternoon in the garden having a good tidy, and getting bits ready for Spring and Summer. I’ve not finished it all yet, but had to stop as the sun went down and I’d end up cutting my fingers with my snippy snaps rather than the plants. I’ve got loads done, more than I thought I would, hopefully I’ll be able to do some more tomorrow, then it’s the big tidy of the greenhouse before the sowing begins!

Dear Claire , I do enjpy your videos on you tube. I read books but somehow it is all forgotten when i get to my allotment. I was going to give it up in favour of some one more deserving but have decided to start again and plan to go more often. Terence
Reading books sometimes just isn’t enough. I’m glad you’re not giving up, just remember the rewards you get at the end of the season.

Hi Claire, I’ve really been missing your vids..just saw the one w/you and the kids carving pumpkins. I can’t get over how much your son, George?, looks exactly like you! Emily is gorgeous also. I have never seen Mark but I guess she looks the most like him? Anyway, you all looked like you had loads of fun for Halloween. Happy New Year to you and hope 2012 continues to bring you great success in the garden come spring. I’m starting a huge new bed using loads of wood chips and straw as mulch. Saw the movie called, ” Back to Eden” & it was fantastic! You can look it up on YT. I’m using his method on this new bed to see how it goes. That’s bizarre, as I think Emily looks like me, and George looks like Mark! Mark says as long as they don’t have his nose he doesn’t mind who looks like who. There will be more videos this season, which isn’t far off, so I’ll be blogging much more letting everyone know what I’ve been up to. I hope you have a fantastic 2012, so far it’s gotten off to a great start for us, let’s hope it continues. Sounds like you’ll have lots of fun with your new bed, let me know how you get on.
