World Book Day will be celebrating it’s 20th year one Thursday 2nd March. I remember my kids dressing up as a book character and going to school, we’ve had all sorts of costumes from James Bond, Indiana Jones, Kiki, Superman, Spiderman, Witches all sorts. Some costumes we bought, some we made and others we cobbled together from clothes we already had at home. Even now, although they’re in secondary school they don’t get to dress up, but they do still get the £1 book token. So why not dress up as something different this year and go as either Lottie, Dottie or Basil!! It’s bound to be raining so wellingtons will be a must. Take your Lottie and Dottie books to school with you and maybe they’ll be read in class. If you do dress up as any characters from my books, please let me see the photos.
