Thursday 19th June 2014 – That’s more done.

Another lovely day for playing on the allotment. So that’s what I did for about 4 hours today. I weeded and watered the Climbing French Bean bed, and then moved on to do the same to the Potato bed. I also sheared a load of grass as I went along, and in the process disturbed yet more red ant nests. They went manic, trying to move their eggs to safety. I only got bitten once today, but this time on the other leg, so now I’m a bit more evenly balanced. I also planted out 3 new Rhubarb plants that I bought when I was up at Gardeners’ World Live. I had a few holes appearing in the Rhubarb bed, and so I had to fill them. I made a little film for you to watch. There are now quite a few films for Mark to edit now. He’s very busy at the moment, so I’m not sure when he’ll get round to editing them. Maybe he’ll be able to do some this weekend, we’ll have to see. Anyway, so that was it for today. I’d better go and label all my Strawberry jam jars now. TTFN.
