Well I got another couple of pressies today, as it was Mothers’ Day. For my birthday Mark got me a new phone. So I’ve gone from having the crappiest phone in the family to now having the best phone. It’s rather strange, as I’ve now got a smart phone, and will have to say goodbye to my Nokia, which I’ve had for about 8 years! Yes I get very attached to things. The kids started the day by bringing me tea in bed, but they gave me the wrong tea, so I had to remake it. Still the thought was there. We do have 3 tea caddies in our kitchen: George’s normal PG Tips, Mark’s Redbush and my fruit teas. I can smell the difference, but others can’t. I then got to unwrap my pressies. The kids got me a new case for my phone, which I can use at home, and Mark got me a super strong case for my phone when I go down the allotment. Apparently it’s made for the US Military and can withstand a tank. So it should be fine for the allotment. Later on we went to pick up Mark’s mum Pat, and spend the rest of the day walking round Nymans. Mark bought both us mum’s lunch, and  Pat then bought us all an ice cream. I spent some of my money in the shop and purchased lots of herb plants. I’m having to re do the herb bed at home as many have been in for years and several got trampled on when our fencing was put up. Then it was home for Paella for dinner and I think I fell asleep on the sofa about 9pm. I think it was all to do with the clocks going forward the night before, and I lost and hours sleep…that or the 3 glasses of wine. It’s Mothers’ Day, so who’s counting!!
