What is going on here maybe just a simple too much goodness in the compost, but it seems the other one is thriving on the water alone. What about something in between maybe compost mixed with some other product like vermiculite or maybe some thick cotton wall on the bottom of the compost. Because when you buy it its normally high and well grown all over. A good experiment for the children maybe
I wanted to wait and see which one turned yellow first, but neither did, so we ate them. I started some more off yesterday. Kids love growing cress as it’s so fast. Another fun way to do it is to grow in an empty egg shell anad put a face on the outside.
