Remembered to take the strimmer with me today. The grass hasn’t been cut for a while and is getting quite long. The shovel’s in the car along with the blue plastic sheet, gloves and wellies as tomorrow is manure day!! I’ve managed to weed quite a few beds and have strimmed the grass round the edges and they’re ready for some good old horse manure. Let’s hope tomorrow doesn’t rain too hard and I can get in and out the field.

    Hi Claire,
I dont have much grass to mow, thankfully, and that I leave to the guinea pigs. We call a strimmer a whipper snipper. lol Very useful it is too. Sowing seeds at the moment. Blossoms have just started to come out but still having some frosty days and cold winds from the Antarctic.

    • Never heard it called that before, what a wonderful word though. I’m the opposite to you, I’m harvesting, but tonight they’re threatening a frost, could get as low as 4. That’s cold especially for this time of year. Have a great season.
