Greetings from the states. Been following the blog and youtube tutorials which have enriched my gardening experience…particularly the new uses for toilet rolls and empty plastic bottles. Also, I look forward to the installemnts on the horticultural channel but do wish they were EVERY week. You have a lovely family and they do look happy and healthy. Do you grow any citrus trees?
Hi there,
Glad you find the videos helpful and are enjoying the Horticultural Channel. I don’t grow any citrus fruit, as then temperature’s too cold here. If I had a conservatory then I would grow a lemon tree as I use them so often, and it would save me a fortune. One day maybe.
All the best,
Claire
Just a note to ask if you have tried growing vegetable spaghetti plants. They grow and trail along the ground exactly like butternut squash plamts but they are a fascinating vegetable to cook with and eat. They are simple to prepare but oh so different from all other veggies I have eaten. Very tasty too !
Highly recommended by me!
Am enjoying seeing you on the Horticultural channel !
I think it was on my second year (before I started filming) that I grew Spaghetti plants. They were a little on the bizarre side, which is one reason I grew them. I do remember my Granddad growing them on his allotment. I must look them up again for next year. Thanks for reminding me.
