As your Tomatoes grow, they’ll need to be supported, otherwise they’ll topple over from the weight of the fruits they produce. You only need to support the plants that grow tall, and not the bush varieties as they support themselves. Make sure you get a support long enough for allowing some of it to be pushed in the soil, and enough above the soil for the plant to grow up. This is how I support mine in the greenhouse.
