This afternoon I started to pot up my Tomato plants into 6 inch pots. I’ve got 226 tomatoes to pot up, I hope I have enough pots? Oh well, I’ll soon find out. If you’re planting your Tomatoes outside, make sure all frost has gone in your area before you put them out. You can also grow them in grow bags, and containers. I used to grow them outside in the allotment, but if someone gets blight, then we all do. And you can never tell what the weather is going to be like. Damp and humid bring on Blight!! So I now grow them in my greenhouses and some in my garden. So far my garden is a blight free zone. I’ve started with “Caspian Pink”. But you may remember I have loads of other varieties as well. I’ll stake them in about a weeks time, but I have to move more plants down to the allotment first. I’ll keep you posted on how I get on.
